In today's heartbreaking news, Cara Delevingne has revealed — officially, via an interview with The Times
— that she's "not doing fashion work any more." While many had

Yvonne Craig, the actress who played the first Batgirl, has died at her home in California.
The 78-year-old, who starred alongside Adam West as Batman
and Burt Ward as Robin, had suffered from cancer for the past two years.
A statement issued by her family said the illness "didn't
dampen her sense of humour or her spirit, she intended to fight and win.
... In the end, her mind still wanted to fight but her body had given
up".
Craig originally trained as a dancer and was the youngest
member of The Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo, with whom she toured for
three years.
Her acting break came when she was discovered by John Ford's son, Patrick, and cast in the lead role of The Young Land.

SCARY movies about witches are the
oldest trick in the book, but the new trailer for The Witch is just
about as terrifying as they come.
After scaring the bejeezus out of the audience at this year’s
Sundance Film Festival, A24 has released a first look at what promises
to be the horror sensation of 2016. The Witch, which earned
Robert Eggers a best director nod at Sundance, follows a Puritan family
of seven in 1600s New England. When the youngest son mysteriously
vanishes and their crops begin to fail, the family starts to turn on
each other.
The IMDB description reads: “The Witch is a chilling portrait of a family unravelling within their own fears and anxieties, leaving them prey for an inescapable evil.” The Witch
will have its international premiere at the 2015 Toronto International
Film Festival in September and hits cinemas next year. Its release date
is yet to be announced.
Introductory Chemistry at Duke has been taught for about a zillion
years by Professor Bonk (really), and his course is semi-affectionately
known as "Bonkistry". He has been around forever, so I wouldn't put it
past him to come up with something like this.
Anyway, one year there were these two guys who were taking Chemistry and
who did pretty well on all of the quizzes and the mid-terms and labs,
etc., such that going into the final they had a solid A. These friends
were so confident going into the final that the weekend before finals
week (even though the Chem final was on Monday), they decided to go up
to U Virginia and party with some friends up there.
They did this and had a great time. However, with their hangovers and
everything, they overslept all day Sunday and didn't make it back to
Duke until early Monday morning. Rather than taking the final then, they
found Professor Bonk after the final and explained to him why they
missed the final. They told him that they went up to UVA for the
weekend, and had planned to come back in time to study, but that they
had a flat tire on the way back and didn't have a spare and couldn't get
help for a long time and so were late getting back to campus.
Bonk thought this over and then agreed that they could make up the final
on the following day. The two guys were elated, relieved and very proud
of their story. So, they studied that night and went in the next day at
the time Bonk had told them. He placed them in separate rooms and
handed each of them a test booklet and told them to begin.
They looked at the first problem, which was something simple about
molarity and solutions and was worth 5 points. "Cool," they thought,
"this is going to be easy." They did that problem and turned the page.
They were unprepared, however, for what they saw on the next page...

State Police Command in Ibadan on Wednesday, paraded a 42-year old
ex-bank staff identified as Olayinka Olatunji for impersonation as he
was arrested for parading himself as a police officer. The state
police Commissioner, Mohammed Katsina who spoke through his
spokesperson, Adekunle Ajisebutu (DSP) told newsmen that the
impersonator was arrested for impersonating as an Assistant
Superintendent of Police (ASP), adding that, he was arrested in his
office at Iwo-road shopping complex where he was defrauding innocent
people. The commissioner disclosed that the police found on the
impersonator a fake police warrant card and a portrait of himself in
full police uniform with the rank of an Assistant Superintendent of
Police (ASP 1). Admitting to the allegation levied against him, he
said that he has been in the business since March this year, disclosing
that he bought the police accessories from an undisclosed Police
Training School. He said that he used the police uniform to disguise
himself as a police officer to transport imported fairly used cars from
one location to another.

Muslim. However, the founder and leader of Apata Adura Cherubim and
Seraphim Church, Ekute, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, former Pastor Adekunle
Afolabi, broke that jinx.
He became a Muslim after practicing Christianity for over 25 years and even rose to become the General Overseer of his church.

The 45-year-old, now addressed as Alfa Abubakar Afolabi, attributed
his conversion to a divine encounter he had with a strange man in white
in his dreams who showed him certain flaws in Christianity and convinced
him that indeed Islam is the only religion that leads to heaven.
In an interview with The Sun,Alfa Abubakar spoke on his experience as a Muslim
Read excerpts from the interview below: How did your journey to Islam begin?
I was preparing for the anniversary when I started having dreams
that eventually led to my conversion. At first in the dreams, I noticed
my members were sitting on the floor in the church and some of them were
covering their heads. I also saw that people were washing their hands
and feet before entering the church just like it is done in Islam. As a prophet in C and S, you would be doing some
spiritual work for people, now that you are now in Islam, do you still
do the works?
Rendering spiritual help is given to all men by God for their own
use, so the wisdom of it is given to me by God, he didn’t take it away
from me because that is different from religion. It is a way of
livelihood so, if any one falls sick, wants to give birth, is having
stillbirth, stagnation at work, that is all what we use that for. He
showed me places in the Bible where many prayed to God in Islamic way.
By this praying, I mean to kneel down and bow down your head and face
down. What about those who were your colleagues when you were in Christianity as a church leader?
They all left me the day I invited an Imam to come and preach in my
church. That day of our anniversary. I have also been relieved of my
position as president of our association. The only thing the pastors do
once in a while is to call to ask me if indeed I still want to continue
in the new faith and I usually confirm it. As for friends, some have
stayed while others have left.

Rev. Igbinigie Anthony, the pastor in charge of Christ Apostolic
Church (CAC) in Egor local government area of Edo state,
has narrated to an Egor Chief Magistrate Court of how a man who tried to
steal the church’s offering during its annual thanksgiving was caught.
The pastor in charge, said the suspect had broken into the church on
three previous occasion and made away with cash amounting N52,000.
Igbinigie explained that he and the church’s youth president, Okoh,
decided to sleep in the church because he had a premonition that the
thief would return to steal the thanksgiving collections.
He said the suspect, Ehiosun Junior, first broke into the church and
carted away N40, 000 after which he asked the church to pray to God to
forgive him.
The suspect was arraigned on a four-count charge and has pleaded not guilty.

scrap of clothing as he reads stories from the Bible to the faithful
gathered in his small rural church in Southampton, Virginia (pictured)
The church got everyone’s attention when it introduced a kind of
worship where the members have to praise God naked. Although the rule
was not made compulsory for the members of the church a year ago when
the idea was introduced, on Sunday, August 2nd, 2015, the head pastor
announced to his congregants that nudity is now mandatory in the church.
Daily Mail reports that the church, which is located in Ivor in the
southern state of Virginia, has since then asked members and worshippers
alike to leave behind their material concerns including clothing
anytime they come to worship. The church now describes itself as a
family nudist community where visitors can enjoy all manner of
activities, including spiritual worship in a completely natural (nude)
way.

Pastor Allen Parker said he came to the decision to allow naked worship
after concluding his flock should be free to forgo materialism and the
‘pretense’ of clothing if they desire
In justifying the church’s ridiculous way of worship, Pastor Allen
Parker said that many of Jesus’ most important moments happened while he
was naked. Recently, the church even conducted a marriage in the nude
with couple Katie and Robert.
Pastor Parker said: “When Jesus was born he was naked, when he
was crucified he was naked and when he arose he left his clothes in the
tomb and he was naked. If God made us that way, how can that be wrong?
I consider this a gift and a privilege God has given me as our members
are caring, understanding and they’re community and family oriented. We
have one of the most involved chapels anyplace around. I’ll put our
church up against others around.”
Robert Church also justified getting married nude, saying that White
Tail Chapel lacks the pretense sometimes found at other places of
worship. He added that nudity is a great equalizer as it becomes
impossible to judge someone based on their expensive or shabby clothes
if they are not wearing any.

Scroll down for video A church in the US state of Virginia has taken the bizarre decision to allow its congregation to attend services in the nude. Pastor
Allen Parker, the leader of White Tail Chapel in the town of
Southampton, said he came to the decision to allow naked worship after
concluding the clothing requirements of other churches were overly
'pretentious', and decided his own flock should be free to forgo such
materialism if they desire. He
believes he is in good company too, claiming many of the most important
moments in the Bible happened while the protagonists were nude,
including Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection
.

Speaking to CNN, Mr
Parker said: 'When he [Jesus] was born he was naked, when he was
crucified he was naked and when he arose he left his clothes in the tomb
and he was naked.' 'If God made us that way, how can that be wrong?' he added.
Mr Parker is believed to have drawn
at least some of his opinions on nudity from the book of Genesis, in
which Adam and Eve were originally described as 'both naked, the man and
his wife, and were not ashamed'. It
was only after sinfully eating forbidden fruit from the Tree of
Knowledge that Adam and Even are said to have seen their nudity as
shameful, at which point they sowed fig leaves into loincloths. Although
the church allows worshipers to attend services fully naked, many have
decided they would rather continue to attend fully clothed, particuarly
when in mid-winter, while others opt to just reveal their breasts or
genitals. The idea is that

church that they are simple human beings and that, beneath any personal
wealth or glamorous outward appearance, they are all more of less the
same beneath the clothing. 'There’s
not a feeling that you have to be better than one another, physically.
We’re humans, we have scars, we have what we have. It’s learning to love
and accept that,' Mr Parker says.

And the pastor leads the

he reads stories from the Bible to the faithful gathered in his small
rural church. The nudity is not restricted purely to preaching, however. Several
couples have recently been married in fully nude services, in which all
members of both families are encouraged to shed their clothing before
the couple take their vows. Robert and Katie Church were one couple to have a naked wedding at the White Tail Chapel, with Mr Church saying attendees were far more interested in 'hearing the word of God and speaking the word of God' than analysing the naked bodies on display. Mrs
Church wasn't a nudist before the couple met, but says she has since
come to love the experience of going to church in the nude and now
considers her fellow worshipers 'family'
Khulu Reinfirst Manyuka (73) reportedly left home on 15 June this
year headed to the bush to conduct prayers, redirecting his attention to
God, away from things of the earth.
The pastor in charge, said the suspect had broken into the church on
three previous occasion and made away with cash amounting N52,000.
